What did you guess the product was for yesterday’s post? Most of you guessed a cracker.
Hard to believe you need over FORTY ingredients to make breadcrumbs.
Here are healthier alternatives:
Trader Joe’s Breadcrumbs
365 Whole Wheat Breadcrumbs (Whole Foods)
Basically, the ingredient list should be pretty short: some type of flour, yeast, maybe salt and seasonings (but plain would be best so you can do it on your own). These are better versions you can buy (although some have a few more ingredients), but ideally, making your own would be best!
I’d love to try making breadcrumbs with Ezekiel bread (most nutritious bread on the market as far as I’m concerned!).
Hopefully with more of these posts, you’ll realize the Nutrition Facts are the second most important part of choosing a product.. to me, a small, simple ingredient list is of greatest importance for health.
