I eat clean and 1200cals: breakfast small bowl of oats, lunch an apple/small salad or nothing and dinner roasted veggies, sweet potato and little rice. i think maybe my metabolism is really messed up because i have been mostly eating 2 times a day. how can i fix this and start losing weight not gain?
Eating too little can halt weight loss. Even worse, it can result in metabolic damage, which can cause many serious health problems. Make sure you are incorporating healthy fats, complex carbs, and lean protein into your diet. Check out some of my previous posts for ideas of how to get more of them into your diet. Also, check out the government’s recommendations for each food group. If you still feel lost, try talking to your doctor or consulting a registered dietitian to guide you in the right direction.
