Single Serving Spaghetti alla Carbonara
I love this recipe (adapted from this one). Pasta is one food that I typically will NOT cook in bulk. If I’m cooking 6 servings, odds are, I’ll eat one serving.. then go back for another!
One serving size of pasta= 2 ounces
I decided on 1 1/2 ounces today so I could add more protein from yesterday’s ground turkey.

bfitandhappy:
During my prep, I did anything and everything I could to make the most out of my contest diet. Within the confines of my (VERY) limited menu, I’d try to concoct the most delicious meals possible using every “approved” ingredient I could.
As is common in many prep diets, I was told to have egg…

Read the study here or follow this link for an overview of the study.
Guess what? The participants eating the low fat diet had the least success with weight loss!

Urges and Cravings
“Most of you try to resist an urge by engaging some sort of recriminating or judgmental self-talk. This is the metaphorical gun to your head. And it may even work a time or two. But it cannot last as a solution.”

Anonymous asked: Love the blog! For someone getting started with cleaner eating, can you give any tips on how to take measurements? I weigh about the same as I did when I was really fit- but I have so much more flab now. Since I don't want/need the scale to change much, I'm curious about what body parts to measure, how often to take them, what kind of change to expect, etc. Thanks!!
